This Belle Epoque ring was handcrafted in France around 1900. A beautiful sapphire is accented with three diamonds, all set in 18 karat gold. The round sapphire measures 4.5 x 4.5 x 3 mm and weighs approximately .44 carats. The old European cut diamond measures 4.3 x 3.8 x 2.9 mm and weighs approximately .28 carats. The other two diamonds are rose cut stones. The ring face measures 9 x 10.5 x 4.4 mm off the finger and the band width is 1.4 mm at the back. This ring is a size 6 and it weighs 1.8 grams. It bears a faded French maker’s mark and has been acid tested.
