The stars were bright on Christmas Eve as she walked up the stone steps of the church. The traditional evening service was about to begin. She wore this cross with its diamonds and gold, along with her velvet green dress, as she stood with the rest of choir. They sang in harmony, Silent Night. They sang softly as the children in the congregation slowly walked up the center aisle with candles in their hands, giving light to the darkened room. She watched the crowd settle in, as the candlelight made her gold glow and her diamonds sparkle, waiting for the celebration to begin.

This gorgeous antique Art Nouveau diamond and gold cross was handcrafted in France around 1890. It’s a beautiful scrolling trefoil cross with four old European cut diamonds totaling .10 carats. This piece measures 52 x 30 mm and weighs 5.8 grams. It bears the French eagle head mark for 18 karat gold.

This beautiful little masterpiece of art, religion, and faith is truly a righteous combination.
