This gorgeous Art Nouveau silver and enamel necklace is so bright and summery, it reminds me of lilly pads, green leaves floating in clear blue water. This beautiful piece was hand crafted in England in about 1910 and was almost certainly a necklace which was originally retailed at the famed Liberty and Co. of London.
Bright turquoise blue and green enamel encircle green flowers with a white, mother of pearl center. The necklace is 16 inches around the neck and the drop is 70 mm long, 36.3 mm across and it closes with a metal clasp, which is almost certainly original to the necklace. This piece is unmarked and weighs 13.4 grams, it is unmarked but tests as silver.
