This exceedingly lovely, flowing Art Nouveau belt buckle is all irises. Completely hand carved, it tests as 925 sterling silver and was probably made around 1900 at the height of the Art Nouveau era. Made to be worn on a fabric belt it would be gorgeous on wide gross grain or satin ribbon to help you carve a waist out of that sweater dress or long shirt.
