This gorgeous hand crafted ring was made in England in about 1880. It is set with a central bright rich pink sapphire, it measures 5x4x1.6 mm and weighs about 0.30 carats, the sapphire is supported by four sparking Old European cut diamonds, .85 carats in total weight. It has scrolling carved shoulders with a rich leafy pattern leading up to the intricate crown of the ring. This ring measures 6.5 mm north to south and 19 mm across the face, it sits up 3.7 mm off the finger and narrows to 2.2 mm at the back of the band. This size 6 ring is unmarked and has been carefully acid tested as 18 karat gold, it weighs 3.4 grams.
