This hand crafted ring measures 5.6 mm north to south at the face and 19 mm across, it narrows to 1.7 mm at the back of the band and sits 3.7 mm off the finger. The largest amethyst measures 4.5×4.5×4 mm and the four old European cut diamonds are 2x2x1.5 mm each. The ring is marked with ‘18ct’ and ‘750’ and was likely made in about 1900, perhaps in continental Europe. It weighs 4.3 grams and is a size 5.75.
