The hand cut scroll work and cutouts compliment this wonderful Old Mine Cut natural diamond. The stone is 5.95×5.95×4.02 mm and weighs about 0.95 carats, it is H/I in color and SI1 in clarity, the mount is decorated with a further 3 single cut diamonds on either shoulder, .08 carats in all. This ring measures 5.7 mm north to south and tapers to 1.8 mm wide at the back of the band, it sits 5.41 mm off the finger. This size 5.5 ring could be resized to suit, it is unmarked but acid tested and weighs 2.4 grams. Edwardian circa 1910, you might call it Belle Epoque.
