Antique Diamond Pearl Gold Bangle Bracelet with Lily of the Valley Flowers Victoria Sterling Antique Jewelry

She dashed through clover fields, chasing after her dog, giggling and smiling because it was a bright Spring morning and the sun finally felt warm again after a long winter. She stopped when she came across a hillside laden with Lily of the Valley and plopped down, breathing deep, reveling in the heady scent. She crafted a woven crown of lilies for her head, and a collar for her dog. It was her favorite flower, it matched her bracelet, and how both reacted so perfectly with the sunlight beaming through the cumulous clouds.  

This darling antique gold bangle features a lily of the valley flower made of diamonds and pearls. It was handcrafted in about 1870 and has a safety chain for added security. The sparkling lily featured on this bangle is made up of 20 rose cut diamonds and four natural creamy white pearls, all set in silver. This piece is hallmarked with an owl and a swan, indicating it was imported to France, most likely from England, and holds a minimum silver fineness of 800 silver (in the setting). The gold purity content mark, ‘75’, can also be found on this beautiful bracelet, and in addition we’ve acid tested it to verify that it is 18 karat gold. This bangle is oval shaped and would fit a wrist of 7.5 inches or less. It measures 19.2 mm wide and is 2.9 mm thick. It weighs 38.6 grams. It has a few very small dings in the back commensurate with age.
